Is the FDA Socially Irresponsible?

Is the FDA’s snail-like response to the changing marketing landscape merely annoying, or is it worse than that? Heartbeat CEO Bill Drummy believes that the FDA’s refusal to provide meaningful, complete guidance to pharma marketers more than two years after the social media hearings is highly irresponsible, and in fact violates the agency’s mission by putting patients at risk.
